GTM Gantry Type Turning and Milling Center
Applications of GTM Gantry Type Turning and Milling Center:
Compared with GTC gantry type turning center, GTM gantry type turning and milling center can not only turn the curved surface such as outer circle, inner hole and end surface in once setup, but also can be used for boring, drilling and tapping inner hole, outer circle, surface, slant surface, curved surface and groove etc. Besides, function of Y-axis was added.
GTC/GTM-f/GTM series turning and milling center is ideally suited for machining large-size and complicated discal parts in industries such as aerospace, shipping, wind power, hydroelectricity, military, mine, train, auto etc.

Structure Features of GTM Gantry Type Turning and Milling Center:
The main drive is controlled by large power motor with wide speed range and double spindles. For the motor, the master-slave control is used during turning, and the electronic pre-loaded gap elimination control is used at milling status.
Hydrostatic guideway, with large load capacity, anti-abration, high running accuracy and long life span, is adopted to support the worktable and workpiece.
The hydrostatic guideway is used on X and Y axes, resulting in increased guide stiffness, reduced friction factor and improved positioning accuracy and repeatability.
Multi-type of attachment heads is equipped, which can realize automatic exchanging. Straight boring & milling head, optional straight boring and milling head, right boring and milling head, multi stations turret, universal boring and milling head are optional to satisfy the actual needs of our customers.
The internal ram technology-indexing motor integrated in the ram.
The synchronous driving control technology is implemented to control the beam moving up and down, with features of high speed, smooth machining and high positioning accuracy.
