Introduction of Pipe Threading Lathe:
This 3-coordinate machine, independently developed by SMTCL, is mainly applied to processing threading of oil pipe and sleeve in oil industry.
It is suitable for cutting line, oblique line, arc, and metric/inch thread, with such function as tool tip radius compensation and so on.
SMTCL pipe threading lathe adopts job auto overturning device and job loading/unloading device for automatic and continuous job processing.
It adopts 3-axis linkage, 3-coodinate with double turret, multiple tools, which work simultaneously for improved working efficiency.
Structure Features of Pipe Threading Lathe:
This CNC pipe thread lathe is mainly composed of bed, spindle box, front/rear floating (centering) chucks, internal expanding floating centering, longitudinal and cross slide, electric turret, CNC system, servo driving system, electrical system, hydraulic system, cooling system, lubricating system and protection part etc.
The 45° slant bed is a complete unit of cast iron structure (inner is burnt-in sand) featuring simple chip removing and easy operating.
The main transmission system comprises DC speed changing motor and matching main drive system, providing stepless speed changing and constant speed cutting.
The internal support hold in tailstock, which is driven by cylinder and floated with pipe axes, should be clamping when cutting pipe threading.
Upper turret is with DM 6 servo station and locked under hydraulic pressure, while lower turret is just with a single station hold.
The center positioning arm is driven by hydraulic motor through gear and ballscrew and its travel can meet 130mm. Please adjust the eccentric shaft to ensure centering when centering deviation is less than 1/2 pinch.
Front and rear floating chuck devices are adopted, and each of them can be divided into floating and non floating clamping. The floating value of the chuck should be adjusted within ±4mm.
The hydraulic system is overlap control valve featuring compact structure and high reliability. The adopted variable vane pump delivers energy saving, little heat productivity and low noise.
The spindle and bearings are all lubricated by oil, which is taken to each lubricating point through gear pump, magnetic filters and distributor.
Center auto lubrication system is used to lubricate the guideways of turret, X axis and Z axis ballscrew.
The fine filter device with high pressure and chain chip conveyor are adopted.

The auxiliary equipment includes: compensation roller of feeding, feeding alignment, support roller, step feeding, main feeding, feeding stop device, adjustment, returning stop and base.
